Awakening

thebettersideofme69

Lost in my own regret

Seeking victory in a battle already lost

Battles hard fought, tears long cried

Days begin to fade, memories remain the same

I play In the darkness til light becomes ashamed

My face ever the same but I am not the same

Lost in my own regret and I'm the one to blame

In my experience ~ REGRET & REMORSE are two of the hardest things to bear. You leave us to imagine the circumstances but in some respect all Men make the same mistakes and bear the same regrets. Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
