Untwisted

Untwisted

Laying in the arms of a man who cares would bring absolutely no despair.

Captivating, altering without even trying; a Godly man is worth finding.

Something untwisted in a cold, cruel world:

Can mend the heart of a broken-hearted girl.

Once love is found it can be gladly bound.

Holding on tightly without the mount.  Blessed be oh crooked one.

We shall all pray for peace in the woods.  Make your way forward..?  I plea no more.

Like a knife dagger that's been attached to the sore.

It's undying deceit can confuse and make weak the minds of the blessed ones to be.

Unjustified man who can you become..?  Breaking hearts without a gun.

Go on, go on play games with no one.  No man or woman should see that sort of fun.

WELCOME PHOENIX ~ Thank you for a well spaced and well penned first poem ~ replete with sweet and sour notes. I like the subtitle "Lessons from the past" we (Yang & Yin) can all empathise with that. In my own relationships with ladies I like to be "A Man who cares" "A Godly Man" but never (God forbid) "A crooked Man" or "An unjustified Man" who breaks hearts emotionally yet not physically. In this present debauched World ~ Phoenix ~ we have to chose our partners carefully. My experience is if my Ladies (I'm still single) are "Godly Ladies" then our relationship is always true and positive. Is this your experience with Men ? Thanks for caring and sharing ~ BRIAN
