Running, Learning, Watching, Wishing.

Anna Becker

I think every one's just running around this town

Running from the things they can't escape

Running from themselves.

I think I'm just always running around this town

Running from you.

I think every one's just leaving this town

Leaving the ones that really care

Leaving dreams in steel boxes

I think I'm just always leaving this town

Leaving you

Wishing it weren't easy for you to always leave me.

I think every one's just watching this town

Watching things fall apart like rose petals

Watching endless sunsets change

I think that I'm just always watching this town

Watching you not fall apart without me

Watching you watch sunsets without me.

I think every one's just wishing in this town

wishing for a little bit of living

wishing for rain.

I think Im just always wishing in this town

Wishing for living that doesn't kill

wishing for some living with you.

This town is full of the wishers, the watchers, the leavers, and the runners.

This town is full of you.
