Forgetting

phoenixsky2020

It's hard to say that times have changed.

You never know with love what it can bring.

Forgiving in the sense of walking away, brings more

peace than what's known on any given day.

Forgetting isn't easy and it may not can be done.

Lessons were learned and the heart has

unfortunately been burned.

Trust was once there but now it's long gone.

It's a blessing to finally, finally be done.

No more second chances for the soul is at ease,

it was once thought of that it could bring the peace.

It can never be replaced once actions are viewed

right at face value straight under the moon.

Count your blessings so they say but how do you know

what those are when attitudes change throughout the day;

Confusion arises at the very peak but always remind

the mind to stay humble and meak.
