Letter

magno1988

The unwritten and unspoken letter from the heart

For what reason do I owe this heartbreak,

The wealth of pain outweighs each passing beat,

I cannot register or contemplate neither beginning nor end,

You owe me life! You promised to love me before anyone else,

The disappointment has taken its toll and now the realisation of what you have done has taken over your mind and body,

You resent life each passing day for fear of this feeling resurfacing and destroying your mental state,

But realise that the reason why I beat is to be a constant reminder for you to love and live and be.

Happiness is not to love but to have that option.

I love this piece! Especially the last line. We must be free to love if we wish. Excellent job!
