Clarity

JunusScarin

The epitome of sleepless nights,
Is it really so unfamiliar?
The touch of a lover
all but forgotten and left to die.
Is it really so hard for you?
To look upon this desolate hallow shell
and see the devastating effects of your path.
You cut swaths behind you!
Pull on chains and rattle cages that host the remains of all who dare defy you.
And it mesmerizing to watch you,
To see such beauty go to waste behind twisted and hateful faces you keep.
To be honest it's terrifying to witness the effects of your fly by night whims and careless shedding  of people who care,
Like snake escaping skin.
But if it means more then tomorrow,
If it means more than moments,
Who am I to resist?

This has like a masochistic twist to it. Interesting.
