Battlefield

Niye

Let the ink from my pen express my feelings
Let it wash over you like a new beginning
Let it convey the feelings that these lips never could
While you wage wars on battlefield
Fighting for what you believe in
Let the words my ink forms
Be a reminder to you
That you are not the only one fighting
For as I write let the ink spill on this page like blood and the sound of the pen hitting the paper be the screams
For this is my war
This is my battlefield

I have written several poems about a battlefield, and a couple about my own writing experience- yours is quite expressive, which I find to be one of the best qualities in poems. Thanks for writing, I would be honored if you'd read mine.
