hear my cry

AAA

trust·wor·thy

trusting someone who hasn’t earned your trust

is like breathing in water

you’re drowning yourself willingly

you’re putting your heart on the line

a line

set boundaries

set rules

live by them

i am not saying to never trust

but just because a person is a sweet talker

doesn’t mean hand them your heart

we all hold secrets

secrets we don’t want anyone to hear

secrets we won’t admit

but admitting is the first step to suicide

thinking and believing are two different things

the people you think you know will eventually change

change with the seasons

changing who they were to conform to this world

friends will come and go

fading

fading memories

fading thoughts

fading urges

oblivion

we are oblivion

our actions

our thoughts

our emotions

all oblivion

all unknown

all unfamiliar

these actions we perform to fill this emptiness

the emptiness

we can not escape nor fill

because the only thing that seems to stop the pain is to pray

to pray to a God that may not hear

Pray to a God bigger than you

pray to a force bigger than our thoughts

or our emotions, or memories

bigger than everything on this broken earth

because while you are praying you know nothing can interfere with your trust in God

such a hard topic to understand and wrap your mind around

thinking and know are two different things

i know there is a god bigger than my problems

i think think i will make it through this storm

but if i don’t i know i will be with the king of kings

Trust in him not people of this earth
