One Black Hole

clark_taylor

Experiencing the world is hard when anxiety
Controls you
Being a part of something special is complicated
When you know
You're nothing special

Walking through doors and feeling eyes
Burn through you with judgement
Is the daily routine

The constant worry of making sure to say the right thing
To make them satisfied with your presence
Is of huge importance
Even when they
Use you for that very reason

Dreading the nightmare of never being loved
Because of the mess you are
And feeling unworthy and annoying
And sad and lonely
And stressed
And afraid

Every moment
Of everyday
Is Hell
When you think the entire world
Is against you

Feeling incapable of being loved
Not only by others
But by yourself

It's a never ending black hole

Great poem! I have anxiety too and I can relate on some level. I agree with tepo, keep writing! It's cathartic and it can help people that feel similar to the way you do.
