Man in the Moon

m4y4_bee

She murmured “my love, my love,”

As we sat upon the jagged twilight rocks

Of the musky estuary

Forgive me

I was deluded by a deluge

I merely interrupted

With a longing and a shiver

Your secrets whispered

To the man in the moon
