The Song Remedy

Clark

When the music

Hits your soul

Hard and damaging

It gives you the ability

To recognize your

Rights and wrongs

It brings you to tears

And makes you smile

As if it were the first time

Everything seems to

Fall into place

And finally the world

Around you starts to make

A little more sense

Belting out the words

Like they were your

Last

Can be the most relieving

Kind of remedy

It gives you

A way to say something

Without saying it

It gives you

The courage to say

I love you

Best of all

It gives you

The moment to

Let go

When the music

Hits your soul

Just let go

  • Comment from author about the poem: Music is my passion. I had been singing sense I was a little girl. Whether I'm good at it isn't really anything I can say, but it's also something that doesn't really matter. All that matters is the passion and the feeling I get when I am on a stage singing my heart out, giving my audience a piece of my soul. Please feel free to comment about your own passions and any feedback is also welcome. Thanks for reading! ❤
