Gone Fishing!

Dford1

The sun’s warmth gently laid its palm upon my shoulder, as the sweet smell of summertime

permeated the living room.

I must have dozed off while reading.

A malice awakening, it was not!

I removed my legs from the ottoman and slowly stood upright, raising my arms above my head.

I glanced outside my kitchen window viewing my neighbor lovingly tending her garden.

The enticing scent of newly cut grass entertained my senses.

That was it!

I had to capture the generous earth.

I rushed to get my camera, and headed toward the door.

Camera, on and readily available should nature present itself premature.

I headed toward the farm lands, where simplicity captivated.

Eagerly anticipating 'the catch of the day’!
