The Recollection Of A Broken Day

Natashalovely678

Sometimes to many others, events or people of past times can become cruel and scary to one when their mind recollects those events or people back to place. But to others , those no longer present times or persons are a blessing to the soul. It is different when it comes to me personally. That corrupted day befalls upon my mind constantly , and it can become a bloody curse at it's time of hour. It happened on a very cloudy day, as the multitudes of rain drops screamed out their freedom from the highly put clouds, while the sky reflected that of the grey colored ,squared shaped pavement , that my whole entire being stood. In this very moment my brown , hooded eyes, we're facing that of another pair of light, also brown eyes, resembling  that of tree wood. The face these eyes existed on ,showed great annoyance, as their master stood between the inside of his home and it's opened front door. "Listen to me very closely dear, my heart no longer hungers for yours anymore. For it is not because of thee, but of me." Confusion and frustration took their deepest toll on me as my past , deeply loved one said those words, and also because of the sad and cruel fact , that my garments had become one with the very thing essential to this life, as it continued to pour down from it's sky regions onto me , as I stand present before him and his half-opened house door. Sadness, pain , and feelings of being unwanted , shoot straight through my already tired veins , heart , and soul, as I process those world crashing words. Tears fill my already empty eyes as silence becomes ruler over my closed mouth. Thunder and lightning fill the heavens , as I observed his uncaring eyes yet again. Irritation laced his words as he spoke to me his final sentence. "Go home now, for nature's wrath  is of the essence , and I have more important duties to complete at this hour. Please do not return to me, for you would just be wasting your time......Goodbye now." He declares these last words to me before slamming the tall, wooded object that separates me from him. If we had the advantage of hearing a heart when broken , in that moment mine would've caused one's ears, to detonate into nothing. A large heart-wrenching sob escapes my already shivering mouth, before I yell out words I couldn't once before, "Please don't leave me my dearest beloved!"  Banging softly my cold fists onto his closed door, I ask sadly in a worn out voice, "Why does thee not want the very heart , soul, and body , that always wanted to be his?" Hearing no answer or movements any longer , I let the rain consume me as I stand there defeated.

Before I can get any further into that awful and evil memory , I begin to feel the feeling of water droplets pour down onto my already flushed , dark skinned face, stopping the scary ride I was taking through memory lane. I was so deep into the recollection of that broken day, I failed to realize the rivers that were being released from my sadden eyes because of it. Thankfully , the sun begins it's rising once again, it's lovely light swiftly flows through my bedroom windows , enlightening my once dark room , causing those dark feelings  to completely disappear. Now existing in the present, I have grown and changed from that passed time. I now try my very hardest to dominate beautiful days, and oh how as each day grows on , I continue to find happiness. I have now not only found it within, but also in the many things nature has to offer. I have come to know now that we are not our past, change is always possible, never is it not. You will also lose some people that were before very dear to your heart in this world, but you will also gain some, and they will flourish your heart once again. So let the past be a lesson, and let the present be a new and wonderful beginning .
