Fear living

The lonely poet

I walk down the street and I see no faces just the shoes  on my feet as I shake like a  leaf and try to hurry my  paces.

I try to block out the shadowy  forms and thoughts  that surround me like an evil he'll sent army so mighty  and  great I must run away and leave  this place there's no sanctuary  here only malice and  hate.

When  I  look  up  i  look  straight  back  down hoping for a hole to open and swallow  me in the ground, my mind  is  spinning  the evil won't  put me down I feel like  a fox running   from hunter and hound.

I feel like a sewer rat hiding  deep underground  patiently  waiting  for darkness  and absence  of  sound, when all  is quiet and not a soul is around that's when I I feel  it's safe for the pavement  my feet to pound.
