Once I'd read your last message, my body stood limply in the shower - bestowing sobs freely.

I gave you my everything but do you want those too?

Attempts made to muffle out any cries that the water hitting the basin couldn't.


But the water was sliding over my skin. Waves gliding down a waterfall. Cutting through every corner, "nothing is staying" it said. The pain, the touch of you, the heartbreak fused with my tears were all to be washed away. 


Drained down the plug, it went to go on as one - it's very own journey below the city, bouncing through the tubes, towards the sea.
