Living

We don't live for the beauty

But for the disasters

The thrill in our veins

As the end becomes nearer

The thrill and the rush

Is why we are living

Not the safety and calmness

That I'm always hearing

The thrill in my veins comes for the love of music, words, nature, family and friends.

It's interesting your statement about the end getting nearer. This I too believe to be the case. Scripture bears that out yet, our world is going to end one way or other, by the hand of God or by man's destructive nature, the only thing certain is that it will end. I am curious to know what you meant however. Great poem
