Gas Bag

WriteBeLight

I shouldn’t have had,

That spicy app.

I feel inflated,

And, want to nap.

But, that is not,

To happen at least.

This gas inside,

Must be released.

Oh, here it comes!

About to blow!

The biggest belch!

Going to explode!

Then, someone asks,

Was that a frog?

Or, maybe instead,

A barking dog?

I say not a word,

To anyone.

For, another belch,

Is about to come.

Again, they ask,

What’s that sound?

Has there been an earthquake,

Underground?

Now, myself,

I can’t contain.

Another burp,

Out my mouth, again.

Was it a tornado?

Was it a train?

Whatever it was,

There must be pain!

Finally, I begin,

To feel placid.

Simply because,

I took an antacid.

Very good. Very funny. Well done

There was a young man from Ostende
Who couldn't lean over or bend.
    The cause of the trouble
    Was a great gas bubble
That wouldn't come out either end.

    • WriteBeLight

That is a great one Garry. Thanks very much! I always get a kick out of this topic. Can be funny, embarrassing, but great when you are alone! Just let it rip 🙂

I had a young friend called HERB
      Renowed for power and ...
      Shower of his BURB
When I asked "What's the trouble"
      He replied it's a bubble
      Of gas in me tubble
      That has to explode
      Or I'll burst

Thanks for sharing HONEY ~ at least
it is more socially acceptable than FA * * ING !
Hugs (despite it might make you BURP !) BRIAN

Great one - just be grateful it was the northerlies - its even more embarrassing when its the southerlies.

Reminds me of the epithet on a gravestone: Where ere you be let your wind go free for holding it back was the death of me.

          • WriteBeLight

That is a great gravestone point to leave for all! You are very funny Michael. Thanks!
