How far you want to rewind
Fall back and hit stop
Start again
take it from the top
Tell me again
What you expect to find
Knowing I am not caught
by the truth
or of the fear
All I know
is I need to get there
Get to the place
Where we find the time
To go back and review
the inevitable unwind
Time is an ally
that elevates wounds
disguised as healing
the cure all
the end all
and yet
so many here
are stuck in the past
because moving forward
they see what won’t last
Tell me again
The truth of it all
Tell me you love me
despite the fall
