Life To Me

Alex Franklin

Life to me is a constant battle

It's the never ending war that rages inside me,

To all of you I seem fine

But if you really knew me you would cry

Cry until there are no more tears left for you to shed,

I know I might sound insane but hear me through

From my eyes life is a brutal hell that only the strong survive

And I am not strong,

Not strong enough to face what lies ahead in this brutal

And unrelenting world,

Now you see life from my eyes

That's really all there is to it

I live in constant pain and the only emotion I feel

Is that of hate,

I can feel your eyes glarring in on me

Watching as if I was you prey,

All I see is nothing but dissatisfaction at who I've become
