PERCEPTIONS MISPLACED
Her glancing eyes, a North Sea grey,
towards his bold beguiling form
raised wrong perceptions on my brow
like furrows ploughed by passing wheels
yet soon suspicions washed away
as footprints in the passing rain.

Beautiful write Michael.
Lovely painting, those two talking in your picture are Orchi and I, we have been everywhere in our long, long lives.
Hmm, was it you or I, G/F, that said 'Look up' to Harold just at that moment when.........?
Excellent words and that clever painting has much to say too. A wonderful duo and thanks for sharing them Michael.
Thanks Fay

Eye eye - will have to watch you two.
Nice. You paint your own artwork and write poetry to go with it. Great job. 🙂
Thanks - yes all my postings here are accompanied by my own artwork - painting is my first passion but poetry is beginning to take hold although I have been writing for many years now.
