Sinking [Better Off]

Cara

I’ve been drawing blanks on making decisions, and I’ve been contemplating just running away. I’ve been losing sleep and still having nightmares, I’m not sure if I’m even awake. I can feel myself drowning and hear myself screaming but everyone else just goes on with their day. I’m not sure you see me, I think that I’m sinking.

Maybe it’d be better off that way.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is kind of a rambling poem of mine, after running on very little sleep. I'm not sure I like it, we'll find out in the morning.
