White Love

down the rabbithole

The real words I'd write for you would be laid down on fresh white paper
Like you lay me down
On fresh white sheets
You kiss every inch of my fresh white skin
It is all white and paints over the blue of my soul
I am red on the outside
Pink and passion collide
But within me, blue reigns over my childless scars
You miss yours as I miss mine
We feel each other's pain with roaming hands that heat the blue of each other
I know there are black thoughts in your heavy mind
They talk to you and make you cry tears you can't explain
But I talk them away
I'd scream at them if that is what it took
For no one hurts you
I won't let them
I will lay out in the road of puzzled thoughts and let them drive over me
To save you from the road rage within you
I will turn your mind white with all my kisses as you lay me down on those white sheets

Beautiful piece. The love you share runs very deep. Willingness to take that pain from another is love in its purest form. Thank you for sharing.
