Mother of Pearl

iRonnie

She's a special kind of special,

Like a pearl on the beach

That's far out of reach.

I think she was made to crave;

A sea of rushing waves

Won't wash her away.

Most beautifully, her lasting luster

Reflects the pristine paradise

From which she was thrivingly ushered.

    I love the structure and scheme of the writing in this, especially when it changes in the final verse. It really makes it kind of burst out from the previous two, which seemed like a pleasant but brief lead-in to the last and most beautifully impactful final verse. I guess it's sort of like the big splash at the end of a waterslide. Well done!
