there used to be a wonderful poet on here
every day a new piece of her life would appear
with a way about her, she stood out from the crowd
you could certanly say she lived her life loud
exciting or mundane, happy or sad
poetically she'd tell of the day she'd had
Showing us the pain of her anorexia
seeing her specialist really depressed her
hated the thought of being fat fat fat
so made me laugh to comment on that
but sadly one day her life fell apart
she told us plainly he'd broken her heart
now we never see that lady on here
and i always look, hoping she'll reappear
she's a natural born poet, definately gifted
to see her writing again we'd all be uplifted
so if any of you poets know how to get in touch
tell her we miss her......... very much

- Comment from author about the poem: This about a poet who used to write here and suddenly stopped writing. Her writing was quite outstanding and very different to the main. So my words are both a small tribute and also a huge cry for help to get her writing again on here.

I share your concern for Renzi. She is a gifted poet and a very special lady. Hopefully she will come back to her poetic family ... I miss her too.

Beautiful poem, dusk arising. It made me long for all of my friends from school that each went their separate ways.
I've also missed her poems - she was so fresh and honest and open my heart went out her - let's hope we see her again soon.

Yes, well remembered. Renzi, we are still waiting and loving you. I remember her. I miss her work and look for it. I'm worried for her and other fellows friend that disappeared also. I remember Pauly. I was worried because he told me he is taking 30 something Benadryl. This scarys me. I feel so sorry for them. Thanks DA. For the reminder.

Oh Fred thats really good news,,,, Synchronicity ??? or what. I can't really tell you why i wrote this today, I do hope she sees it and is encouraged. Of course she doesn't know me as dusk arising, i had my other name when she was writing in here. WOW!

A lovely tribute to your friend, and so happy to read all the comments below and see that she has re-appeared! I hope Renzi knows how lucky she is to have so many people who care about her!
I never knew her, or had the pleasure of her words but I have known a few Renzi's and I don't mean that to appear flippant... There are some folk who for one reason or another, tend to have a marked, even profound effect on those who encounter them during the course of their lives... some of these same folk have personal issues that may serve as a creative driver.. whatever the case, Renzi is a much admired individual whose talent obviously brought a little sunshine into the lives of so many... I can only conclude by wishing her well and emphasising that whilst eating disorders are never, if ever resolved overnight, I have personally worked with so many over the years who have responded positively to appropriate interventions and support.... Oh' and thanks Dusk Arising for introducing me to a fine fellow poet..... Neville
And thank you very much for reminding me of Renzi. i am going to re-publish this same poem again today in a plea to those on here who know how to contact her. Hoping we may see some of her work again and hear of her well being.
