Drifting away

Mello

stop for the moment despite time,
step forward to the mountain to climb,
maybe slide to the truth sometime,
only to found at the end it's a crime,
but I wished for the truth to have a tongue,
for it to scream of the top of its lung,
step back for it we need to praise,
the path is delivered stop going those ways,
I feel like we want the truth when it's too late,
at times I think we the people are the problem that was created,
yet what do I know of this superior complex creature perfectly painted,
if we used our mind we can be the solution,
we can even get rid of the world pollution,
so on to you my darling truth,
I hope only to see you as a tasty fruit,
so I will savor your taste the whole day,
but we live lies and  we drift away.
