Existence

Baylee

Alone

is when your heart is a massive star

Collapsing

Collapsing

Collapsing in on itself

A never ending blackness

which swallows all light

your body sucked in

Collapsing

Collapsing in on itself

Is life a lullaby

or a scream

Is meaning a monster

or a figment of your imagination

Is purpose tangible

or is it an abstract nightmare

Awake

Paralyzed

This is every hour

the sufferer of sleep paralysis

not only in the waking moments of a nightmare

But within every wakeful second

of this existence.

Well written, Nicole, but I DO expect that from you by now!
Really like the line: Is life a lullaby or a scream. I guess it is both, with periods of calm and periods of storms.
