Trying to take it all in.
Just stare off into the distance
of what seems to be nothing,
but holds clarity in its color.
My eyes can no longer stay open.
My heart is closing,
even to the people I love most.
Silence.
Stillness.
Peace.
All so rare,
In a mind like mine.
