Recover

SunSearcher

Never have I seen two people together

Go to such efforts to stay apart

A fool to believe over time it would get better

Now it all just seems a farse

We have so much at stake

But I'm not sure how much more I can take

Day after day we're here together

But I feel more alone than ever

Is this how the rest of our years will be?

You and me, yet not a word we'll speak.

Somewhere along the line

We stopped finding the time

To love one another

Now I'm afraid we can't recover.
