Watching you grow.

demonshadow14

As we stroll down the pavement I hold your tiny hand in mine.

You squeeze tighter to let me know you are not letting go.

I look down and you are concentrating, still stumbling but that's okay.

I think of times I didn't have you, I was so alone.

Now every day you are here. By my side.

As I watch you grow.

My beautiful child, my laugh, my love.

My unbreakable bond, my best friend.

The love we share is precious.

I'll always be watching you.

As you grow.
