Six Strings

LiterateLesbian

I will

always

find

you

close

my six

strings

plucked

in the

dark

or day

there's no need for me

to speak my soul for what

must be said you will know

from the lyrics i sing and

six strings i play you help

me get through every day

a man made thing to help me by

six simple strings played

from my heart.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem is a short poem representing how playing my guitar helps me release bottled up feelings. I find myself reaching for my guitar in times of need and despair. Ill play it when i'm happy or when im crying too. Ill play the strings hard until my fingers bleed or pluck them softly to a cute melody. I like to use a guitar as a way to let go, it's just me and the guitar and nothing else in the world matters when we are alone.

Playing any music is always a way to let go and reform you mind.
