Paul Harvey – A letter from God
dusk arising said:

According to the bible which says he created man in his own image. He\'d say, \"Yes that\'s just the way i would do it\"

But there again that christian god was created when the world was flat and women had no rights. If fear of god wasn\'t drummed into us as little children would most of us believe in god. Be it a he or she or it or them or whatever?

A certain stillness descends upon us on a starlit night I agree. And here you bring us daytimes hustle and bustle contrast too before night again unveils it\'s magic cloak.
How insignificant our problems of the day become when we contemplate the wonder of the starlit night.

I’d have to agree with you there. The night sky is one of my favorite places to be. So much inspiration to be had. This poem gave me that same tranquil vibe as I read it.

Wait, you wrote that? I have thought the exact same thing so many times, it\'s as if you stole my thoughts. Maybe the years are off one or two and the name is wrong... it was 1967 and her name was Anne!

You are asking the biggest question in all our lives \"What if....?\"
Yours has never left you and I am sure that with a love like that she is looking east at every sunrise wondering if you are there.

Such a lovely yet heartbreaking write. The sunrise may be beautiful but sometimes it’s what’s beyond the sunset that makes life worthwhile.

This is quite lovely. Inside most of us are similar wonders.
Yes i\'m sure she does have such moments as you describe for it is human nature to wonder \'what if\'.

Such are the questions we compose, for which we must enjoy accepting the possibilities the void of answers provides.

Knowing how sick he was makes his last poems posted in MPS especially poignant. This final stanza of his January 14 \"Diary Entry Number ...\" is haunting:

This is my tear and this is what it cries
Around the block, around another bend
Another loss, another pain that never dies
A broken man, a broken heart he\'d lend.

REST IN PEACE KEVIN BROWNE

Whatever your faith or belief i\'m sure you\'d agree that a person with such beauty inside is deserving of advancing to a better place. My belief hopes this for Kevin. Your words are a fine tribute to a man who showed us his heart.

I repeat here te comment i left yesterday to the post \'remembering a poet\' by Laura.

Kevin was an extraordinary poet beyond doubt. He painted pictures with lines from his life and created emotional scenery.
Not always the easiest of poets to read, a man most definitely in touch with his life\'s emotional gains and losses who opened himself up before our eyes often painfully so. I think his work was mostly appreciated in its richness by those who had felt life\'s blows and resurrections. I have never seen any work comparable to his.

His writing is without doubt missed here on mps.
