My first read of the day!
Beautiful way to start my
day! Inspirational like a
morning prayer. Sometimes
we forget how fast time goes by and not reflect of what is and what may be! Thank you for the clip! Enjoyed listening to Bonnie’s song! Have a glorious day!

Very well penned, AP! Yes, we are all survivors and we are all family too. You know, the older I get the more I realize how short life really is. I don\'t have time anymore to worry about scars, both physical and mental. I want to do the same your mentioned in your poem: Find what is at my core.
I enjoy your writing very much. Makes me think.

I certainly couldn\'t find time to read them all. I do look at as many as I can by clicking on to them but as soon as I see sloppy punctuation, spelling errors, strangled attempts to maintain rhyme etcetera then I move on. However, if the posting shows some promise despite these errors then I will read it- there are a couple of poets on here at the moment whose work is full of errors and yet is so refreshing - lets hope they improve, After all one of the basic needs of a great poet is to understand the language and to know how to use it.

Anyway none of those problems with this super write.

We\'ve all become junkies, slaves to our devices. But then, remote interaction might be a good thing ... keeps down physical confrontations, you think?

Going back home is described so well here A.P. and finding the remembered places makes me think of when I did the same. Changes are inevitable but in our memory things stay as they were. Such a good read.

Great poem and I\'m imagining it. Makes me think of my own upbringing too and although worlds apart in a UK village I can relate to seeing the old house all changed, the feelings it stirs up and the memories etched in my brain.
