Loved your LUNA~ODE ! Brian & I are LUNA~TICS also ! Because Sister Moon is much nearer and much more aproachable than Brother Sun - Too hot to handle. Shes so close (250,000 miles) and one can get on her Surface in three days ! Armstrong & Aldrin (1969) showed she was quite hospitable (provided you took OXYGEN & a packed Lunch) and one could walk around and She didnt object when they brought back some sticks of MOON ROCK as souveneers ! Sister MOON provides - Light @ Night - Moves the Tides and influences *Life on Earth*. No other Rocky Planet has a Moon so Big (17% the volume of the Earth) and so CLOSE ! We must NEVER EVER take Sister Moon for GRANTED ~ AMEN !
