Really beautifully done piece of poetry.... I\'d flunk the last question though but that doesn\'t change the artistry.....

Ode to a Poet

Thankful to you for these beautiful words to the great poets who are so passionate and so simple at heart…to the chaotic world, a poet is a window who can show a different world from nature to politics …from romance to fantasies…from serious social issues to spirituality…from surreal to reality…an ode to all the great poets who are so curious about everything
Well crafted dear poet

Percy Bysshe Shelley, would have liked your poem, I think
I have no better way, to praise the poetic ambition, you bravely display in this great write
thanks for sharing, dear poet..
(although Rameses II and his 100 plus children
may not, easily - approve
me thinks
\'what is that?\'
oh yes, yes, beloved Coleridge
we still remember your Kubla Khan
who was foiled by the stormy waves
on the shores of Japan, but see
I\'m sorry but you never bothered to finish any of your poetry
so we\'re gonna stay celebrating Shelley
and no, we\'re distinctly Choosing - to ignore, his personal life
we\'ve all had enough of \'context\',
thank you very much!)
ahem, forgive me that inner poetry nerd just got loose, for a second
will quickly tuck it way
before it says anything more unseemly, lol

L. B. Mek said:
this is a very intimate portrayal, a wide angled view of actions and their explanations,
that cause and effect of reality, we like to ignore
because its easier, to point fingers and blame
in a world with only right and wrong as daylight\'s, shades..
thanks for sharing, dear poet
wonderful details for characterisation

Really like this 🙂I like how you have given the puddle some feelings , and there’s some sadness there at the end of the poem ... as if those who walk by do not think of the puddle at all . I especially like the last few lines

A Summer Night\'s Serenade

If only, we could actually Sale
an appreciation of Nature\'s gifts
to our Youth
like we so expertly Market, that Pagan xmas Tree
and those Capitalist virtues, we adorn it with....!!!
(Another, well \'thought out\' and exceptionally Vivid write,
thank you for choosing to share, dear poet):
\'Up we marched into the hilltops.
Kids in flip-flops,
Dogs and brown hogs.
Fairies flitting,
nymphs a-swimming
Eagerly to see the sight.
Then, amidst the starlit hilltop
grew a tree of moss and hyssop.
Flowers dripping with a softly glowing nectar smelling sweet and light
So they drank the nectar deeply.\'

in the old days, we could run into red telephone booth\'s in the UK, to hide from the elements..
inside, maybe you\'re not alone
and maybe you\'ve got some music to add
to the the physical intimacy of the moment and one half of an earphone, to share with your significant other
and maybe, while its minus temperatures outside, its sizzling hot inside
and your very breadth, exudes a heady fog of magnetic delight..
or maybe, that\'s all an imagined scene, but
still, it was a nice realm to visit even for a mirage, of fleeting Time...
(thanks for sharing, such a moody romantic depiction of the season, inspired me to reply a feeble scribble of my own)
