Bereavement
L. B. Mek said:

\'put it back together, like
nothing ever happened\'
no dear poet, not like that
that\'s trying
to force the impossible
and maybe helps explain
the reasoning for your sombre theme
in this write..
instead, my I recommend
you simply, try
to find a reason for gifting yourself
a smile,
any reason, at all
then picture, how your loved ones
would have loved to share
that smile with you, but can\'t
and so
maybe you find, another smile
only this time
its for them, to smile
along
with you, so that you insure
they\'re never too far
from your side
be it in spirit or thought
just, try
to keep them close
and they will reward
your unbearable ache, at their loss
with memories, to celebrate
all those time\'s
you\'ve shared life, by their side...
let happiness, find you
when the time is right
you just, survive
enjoy your meal
savour you glass of wine
celebrate witnessing
another Twilight, sublime
just the little thing
bit by bit,
that\'s all anyone, will ever ask of you
gifting yourself, a chance
to enjoy
those treasured little moments, in life
(thanks for sharing
and please forgive me
if you feel my words are insensitive or ignorant, to your suffering
I meant well\'

Depression
L. B. Mek said:

crazy part
is reading this very some words, to yourself
a few months, later
sitting in the middle of those celebrating Life
while, once again
you\'re left feeling
like an alien
only, you\'re still on your planet of birth;
and no, it doesn\'t get better
when you get keys
to your own car
and you feel like, at least now
you can leave, when you have a change of mind
because, my dear
its not the place or space or the people around you
that needs to change,
rather, its the you
in the reflection of the mirror
that needs
to be re-assessed, by Yourself;
because: \'Your self-betraying
feelings, of inadequacy\'
is what\'s poisoning, everything you touch
in life;
and until, you find help
to fix that
nothing will change
but the Time and Place...
(as a stranger, all I can do
is wish you, the very Best!)

Depression
kitty the naughty poet said:

I\'m a survivor of depression too. I say survivor because every day I wake up and carry on is another day I win.
Sending healing hugs your way

Oh this is wonderful! I find it so interesting, and drawing, yet so familiar as well! Absolutely amazing! Well done!

Miserable
Paul Bell said:

I think we all go through this a some stage, and we all deal with it in different ways. I do running and poetry, and generally hope for the best.

That\'s when I go for a long run.
Sanity is up the big hill.

Miserable
L. B. Mek said:

well written,
and I agree its always hard
to manoeuvre through everyday life
when experiencing something
really devastating, but
too personal to share..
thanks for sharing

Clarity

It\'s good to read the positive in your poem today. A difficult time but definitely a time to remind yourself of your own self worth.

Clarity

Yes, nothing lasts forever.
On the plus side, though, the world is your oyster.
