Warm Mother

A lovely write which can be interpreted in more than one way, I get a sense that although it may it appear cold the mother has decided they need to stand on their own two feet, without her constant protection, nicely written write, enjoyed the read

A poem that dares to undress the whole humanity in its problematic, where is that hug now? I loved thank you very much for sharing it. Greetings

I hear the message of coldness that some experience but I take another message from this poem. That of the baby bird pushed out of the nest so it will fly and the baby bear chased off by its mother so that it too may learn to live on its own. The difference being one of timing and nurturing care that it is done for the good of the young. Well written

Weight of Depression

Depression is a very hostile enemy and in well expressed write you can feel the dark clouds gathering and maybe the need to talk fastly approaching, nicely written

This brings to mind the song by Radiohead Creep. Depression is a terrible adversary. Deep depression is debilitating and requires help. A deeply felt poem.

\"Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth\" or so it is said. Being one with all is my belief and if you feel it there is no strife but compassion and love. A wonderful poem from the heart that resounds in the readers ears and heart. Lovely

Even old guys like me were teenagers once! They can be difficult, awkward years - after all, we are in the process of growing up! By our mid-teens most of us have adult bodies, but not the fully-fledged emotions of a seasoned adult. It will get better! Writing about how you feel is certainly a good thing! Keep on writing!

What They Omit
Poetic Licence said:
A complex and very personal poem, beautifully written. It is a hard balance on how to deliver information to young people, you want them to fully understand the real world and all it`s flaws, but equally you do not want them to be scared of it, so some choose on the side of caution and omit the bad bits. Hope you have a good festive few days.

A very self reflective poem existential in nature and philisophical but so pertinent. It is not just in youth that this occurs and we are told that ignorance of the law is no excuse. Good write

If ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA comes on the Radio, it’s one song I can’t turn off.
All your daily Vitamins in that one Track.

\"I flit through the despairing library I call a brain\" - this line is amazing. Sometimes the unwritten words are emotions that cannot be described but only experienced, and this poem definitely revoked those feelings of listening to the most perfect songs.
