Really enjoyed this debut
Welcome
If it was all about the hands they would be long gone
Those eyes though
They don\'t need technique
Just a sparkle or twinkle seem to excuse the clumsiness
Looking forward to reading more

My comments on the poem \"Body” by anabasova on this site :
You say the body never betrays you. It is the opposite, I am afraid. It has been said “Body language cannot lie.” Whatever our mind wants to put forward can be blocked by our body. Body language is what is used to detect accurately what goes on in the person’s mind. The contradiction between the words and the body language appear clearly. The mind has plenty of things to hide ; it puts forth the messages that are in our favour and hides those that will do us harm. The body does not care : it will just say plainly what is going on in the mind. So, the body stomps the mind. We all think that the mind controls the body : in reality, the body has power that overrides the mind. The way you fidget, you wring your hands, you shift from the right foot to the left, you glance across, you avoid eye contact, you shake, etc., all this betrays your deep thinking, the real you at that moment….
“Truth is always bitter.”
From the Indian television serial : “Kyunki saas bi khabi bahu thi” (“For the mother-in-law was once a daughter-in-law”). (Full acknowledgements are made to the rights-holders)
But then, everybody has their own “truth.”

My comments on the poem \"Wordy hands” by Elina Alamani
The poem title itself says a lot : hands that speak words. Not only do the hands speak, but the poetess herself is empathetic enough to understand them. Signs of an empath.
--Our hands reveal it all : indeed, we have some (not total) control over our eyes; we can use our eyes to cause some deceit or to distract attention or to give some fake message. But we have little control over our hands. Sometimes the hand muscles override our willpower and betray our deep thoughts. They give the lie to the messages being given out by the eyes and the rest of the body.
--Gentle hands dress and undress with affection : though the eyes can give vast amounts of information or even temptations, they cannot give physical, sensory stimulations.
--Steady and reliable : as long as they are so, they are very useful; when we fall to diseases like Parkinson, we realise the usefulness of our hands all the more.
--capable of nourishing the body and soul : they physically nourish the body by taking food to the mouth.
--I recall your touch : we can also recall the looks of the eyes, but the memories of physical experiences remain longer.
--Shallow, awkward and shabby : the poetess does not have entirely good physical memories of those hands and calls the experience meaningless.
--the eyes can deceive me again : the eyes are capable of playing many roles, even sending the opponent onto entirely wrong paths.
--your hands never : the hands can hardly give wrong messages, even in a physical sense.
--Ruthless : we can hide our hands in our pockets, to prevent them from giving out signals that we want to hide.
--the harm they have caused : the poetess also has some bad memories caused by those hands..
--You have touched bodies : the poetess appears to resent the previous experiences those hands had got.
--Years of mastery : victories or accomplishments of those hands.
--you bragged : the owner of those hands had bragged openly about his victories.
--experts in techniques : achievements of those hands, from experience.
--yet so vulgar : the poetess disapproves the experiences of those hands.
--why I don’t miss them any more : final words to say it is all over.

little boys, forget
techniques are like ingredients
if you\'re not hoping to cook something worthwhile
they just expire and rot
and poison what you\'ve got...
(onwards to your better, dear poet
thanks for sharing)
