Chronicles of Our Blackest Days

This seems a prelude to a bigger story a play as the bard would say all the world is a stage. Sort and to the point.

Several good nuggets laid out here truth in most poetic form a theme runs through like a vein in a mine. The first that caught my eye was \"Last one\'s invited
first one\'s thrown away\" masterfully said that what we cherished quickly grows old and taken for granted easily discarded for something shiny and new be it a car of relationship. The next speaks of contentment and loss of ambition. This vein has a religious theme to it that carries through to the end in one symbol after another where in the end Hades awaits being up shit creek without a paddle so to speak of the river Stix. Great write and a fave for all the hidden pearls

A strong surrealistic message in this apocalyptic poem of destruction. Nicely done

Dark with a very different view of right and wrong. This poem challenges the reader to redefine limits. Nicely done
