This is a one of my favorite books by Dickens, I've read it a few times. It follows a boy, name Pip as he grows into a man. He starts off poor but has a secret benefactor who pays for him to become a gentleman. The best part of the novel is the surprise twists and turns. There is so much happening that there is never a dull moment.
