The epic novel by the classic of French literature, Roger Martin du Gard, is dedicated to the era of the great change of two worlds associated with wars and revolution (XIX - early XX century). On the example of the fate of each member of the Thibaut family, the author reveals the essence of man and shows life in its highest expression - life as creativity and man as a creator.
It was boring, so I reread it. I recommend getting acquainted with the work of du Gard. Pleasure will be all yours.
