A wonderful introduction to Stoicism; as well as a very practical and wise guide for organizing one's mind and emotions. Aurelius is a fascinating man, and to see many of his private thoughts (a scant few of whose context could only be known by him; as this is a collection of journal entries) is an amazing experience. He possess a very strong sense of moral duty and obligation, and my heart emphasizes with him as much as it breaks for him.
