I just came across this poem by Masaoka Shiki and honestly, it didn't really impres me that much. I mean, I get that he's asking how high the snow is, but I feel like there's not enough there for me to connect with. Maybe I'm just not getting it, but it feels kinda of.. bland? Not exactly my cup of tea.
Really loved this littel gem called 'Again and again'. It's so simple, yet it really speaks to you on a deep level, plus gets all the feelins boucing about the uncertainity of life. No fluff, no big words, just straight to the point and whoosh! Right in the feels.
