On the horizon the peaks assembled;
And as I looked,
The march of the mountains began.
As they marched, they sang,
"Aye! We come! We come!"

Comments2Didn't really resonate with me, I suppose. Was there supposed to be a deeper meaning to "The march of the mountains began"? Just seemed like the mountains were..well, walking or something. Are they embodiments of some grand concept? Just wished it conveyed feelings a bit more efficiently. Curious to hear what others think.
xdarklord72 says: "Man, this poem is so trippy! Mountains that walk and sing, like what on earth?! Guess, it’s more metaphorical and opaque than most stuff we're reading in class atm. Not sure it's quite my cup of tea. Lol. Nice imagery tho."
