You'll never know if you don't give it a go

Poetic Dan

Thoses that write know what it's about
A place where you're free to let it all out
I know people that still wish they could
Others knowing of someone who should
I'm thankful to the ones that express their soul
I wish to encourage others to pass their goals
My objective is to find anyone hiding scrolls
As sharing let's go of anger to leave only love

There's a buzzing of feeling reeling inside
A sense of senselessness I was taught to hide
In my dreams like a river the essence will flow
In my faraway lines there is hope that can grow
I hide in a forest etching words on the trees
Casting stones in rivers; rustling leaves
The forest says you're welcome
It tells me it's okay
But then I wake up
And it seems so faraway
It is no time to feel forlorn
Because amidst transient dreams hope is born.

  • Comment from author about the poem: As an encouragement for another poet, I've made my first one. Not sure if I did the options right but I hope it works. My thoughts are all over the place what I'm trying to say but the main thing is to encourage more people to join and show my appreciation.
