Everything and Nothing

Reyas

I’m nothing without you,

That’s what I allowed my self to believe,

I’m nothing without you,

I’ve never been more brutally deceived,

I’m nothing without you,

If there was no you, there was no me,

I’m nothing without you,

Just a simple bit of blasphemy..

Because,

I’m everything without you,

You just hold me back from my dreams,

I’m everything without you,

You just want a slave to your queen,

I’m everything without you,

I’m tired of hearing to all you commands,

I’m everything without you,

I don’t need anyone to hold my hands,

I’m everything without you,

Except for happy..

If only more people could see this in themselves. I have to say that it took me long enough to correct my own perception of self.
Really enjoyed reading this positive piece. Hoping it will rub off onto some of the 'i'm nothing without you' repetitive poets on here.

I really love how it was more of a pessimistic piece until this comment. Looking back at it after reading your feedback it changes my view of my own piece, I just think that’s a wonder in its own. Thank you!

Ok, I'll stay. I won't go, if it will make ya unhappy. Yep, I'll stay, but I'll sing too! Arrgghhh, can ya bear it?! lol.

That felt like a slap in the face at the end.
Brilliantly expressed, I can see how I've never lived myself enough.
Thank you for sharing what feels like a emotional release
