If you are not hear before Autumn,
then I will know it is not,
meant for us to be,
as Autumn will come,
before our second long cold winter,
away from eachother.
I must see you.
If you choose not to see me,
during the most,
beautiful season of the year,
I will know your feelings toward me.
I am sure that I will see you,
in due time -
hopefully sooner,
rather than later,
and if I don't,
then may the Lord,
bless and keep you,
in every season.

- Comment from author about the poem: This piece was written to someone special whom I have not heard from in a long time. I have written a piece about Summer, Spring, Winter, and Autumn. They are all written in regards to the same special someone. Persistence is key
