Burn Baby, Burn, Blighty Inferno!

AuburnScribbler

Yes, that’s right everybody, the sizzles come to play,

So, take off your clothes, or do what you do, to while away the day,

Spark one up, grill some meat, feed yourself some bliss,

Then plunge into a pool, for this cool you can’t miss,

Burn baby, burn, Blighty Inferno,

Burn Baby burn,

Please remember to take care, when you’re all out,

You and your loved ones don’t want, to have a sunstroke bout,

Hence, don’t play the part of stupid girls and boys,

As if you do, you will melt, and so will all your toys,

Burn baby, burn, Blighty Inferno,

Burn Baby burn,

The green has just about all gone, coz of the blaze,

Coupled by the sirens, that take away foolish victims of the haze,

To those still standing, raise your glass, so we can toast,

As we continue to act like chestnuts on a fire, that roast.

Burn baby, burn, Blighty Inferno,

Burn Baby burn,

Burn baby, burn, Blighty Inferno,

Burn Baby burn,

Burn baby, burn, Blighty Inferno,

Burn Baby burn,

Burn baby, burn, Blighty Inferno,

Burn Baby burn.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem, (or lyrics I should say), were inspired by both the recent hot weather we have had, and of course the song "Disco Inferno" by classic band "The Trammps", if the hot weather returns, please be careful friends, hope you enjoy.
