How it Ends

Gemma

How many pints would it take
To take your life away
How many boys would it take
For you to stay

Do you wake up every morning
Thinking about the things you've done
That you'll always go back to there
Where you thought you could move on

Let your bloody wrists drip to the floor
Nothing more to lose, there's nothing left
Tell me, who pulled your sweet heart out?
Who was responsible for this theft?

Because we can't keep pulling you back up
We can't keep on saving you
Why couldn't you believe it
When we said we were there for you

"One more time and I leave," you said
Though we said we loved you
You thought you had no one around
When you lost all your friends

Don't come crying back to us
When you know how it ends.
