Truth Of Today

Raine Blair

So quick to judge

Making guess and speculation

No facts just opinions

Raising our voice so we can be heard

Over others doing the same thing

Getting mad at their thoughts

And them at our opinions

Arguments and confrontation

Pointed fingers

And angry words

There's no room for any decisions

Just opinions mine not yours

I'm right and your wrong

Though they think the same thing

This is not a conversation

Just us screaming to be heard

The world is full of many people

Trying to have a say

But never wanting to listen

Pushing others aside

So they can be first in line

They can't be wrong only right

They want to have a say

But won't let other

I'm guilty of this

And so are you

Let's put our pride aside

And talk this through
