In The Spreading Warmth

In The Spreading Warmth

tender years
remembered
tempered by those tears
that streamed from
gray-blue eyes
when skies were heavily laden
with rain soaked clouds
which poured
upon a naked head
that wished to be
safely inside
within a warm bed
once again with you
in your inner circle
so soon again
I'll fight time and tide
to be forever
at your side
to embrace the ending
of the fading day
in the spreading warmth...

                thank you dusk!

I got really lucky when I met Steve! for me it was love at first sight! we met at a beer-ball game that his company hosted. I was still in school at Northwestern Electronics Institute. my lab partner talked me into going to her husbands after work activity. watching him out in center field, tripping over his beer cup...I feel in love, LOL!
